I loved the central location of Karl Johan. It’s a short walk to the Royal Palace and plenty of restaurants. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety that catered to everyone’s tastes. The staff at reception were friendly and helped with my request for an early check-in. My room felt cozy, with nice decor and a comfortable bed, which made it easy to relax after a busy day. However, the room was a bit small, leaving little space to move around, especially with my luggage. I also experienced a delay during check-in time, where my room wasn’t ready despite arriving on time. It felt frustrating to see others getting their rooms earlier when I had waited for mine. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but some attention to the check-in service would improve the experience significantly.

My kids wished the family room had a bit more space for their things. It felt cramped once the sofa bed was opened. A little more room would make it much better for families visiting.
